Professor José Daniel Barquero Cabrero holds a PhD in Economics, Law and Social Sciences from the International University of Catalonia; Camilo José Cela University of Madrid, Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila de México and interuniversity degrees from the Universities of Málaga, Huelva, Cádiz and Seville. He is also a member of the Economist Association No. 13,049.

He has been awarded for his contributions to the academic world with the title of doctor honoris causa by universities in America, Europe, Asia and Africa. He was awarded by the Government of Spain, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, the Encomienda de la Orden del Mérito Civil. He was awarded the European Gold Cross by the Fundación de Fomento Europeo.

Founder and President of ESERP Business & Law School (1985-2021) and Professor-Professor in Economics and Business at UOLS-Open University La Salle, as well as doctoral professor at Ramón Llull University, La Salle. Advisor to Spanish companies and financial and banking institutions. Honorary President of the European Higher Council of Doctors, Academician of the Royal Academy of Economic and Financial Sciences of Spain and of the Royal European Academy of Doctors, institutions of which numerous Nobel Prize winners are members.
